Two of the most unfathomably stupid female characters in years

The mother and the girlfriend were just jaw-droppingly stupid, and the girlfriend in particularly was annoying, self-absorbed and, again, stupid beyond belief. I find it difficult to believe a guy as sharp as Michael would be with such an imbecile.

Oh, sure, there are dumber characters on paper, but at least dumb characters usually have some reason for being as dumb and contrarian (in the case of the girlfriend) as they are. In this movie, not so much.

Seriously, one of the worst movies I've seen in the last five years on the strength of this alone.
