What BS! Cuba didn't 'survive' peak oil through some surfeit of 'community', they basically went about 50 years backwards economically. The average Cuban has lost 20 pounds in the last 15 years.
This is a joke, but a telling one. Significantly, Cuba didn't suffer any natural disaster, but an economic one caused by communism. If you want to know the lifestyle that environmentalists have planned for you and your children, look at Cuba.
