He's one of my favorite superheros and yet it seems that he's the only one not in this game. yet every other super hero marvel hero is in this game, marvel lied to us when they said this would let you play as your favorite superheros.
sharethey didn't lie they just had a budget and a capacity of characters they could put in, you can't put everyone of the hundreds of Marvel characters in one game. You can't please everyone, sadly. My favorite isn't in the ps2 version as aplayable character which makes me sad when we get to a part where he is in as acomputer controlled. I love Nightcrawler!.

Besides the fact that the Punisher would just not fit in to this type of game, simply put he's just a team player and marches to the beat of his own drum. Plus Civil War was going on as well (or being planned out during the game's production) and if you read it you know what happened to the Punisher.
