Similarities to a Charles Bronson movie

In 1972 Charles Bronson made a movie with some similarities to "Bangkok Dangerous". It was titled "The Mechanic". In it, a very young and good looking Jan-Michael Vincent in his prime played the supporting part part of the "student/protégé" of the rugged individualist hitman (akin to Kong), although the details of their relationships and its incidentals were very different. In the Mechanic the action took place in Sicily and was integral to the movie the way Bangkok was in Cage's film. All in all, both movies were worth watching although neither could rate as must-see. However I must say I enjoyed both films.
