omissions...

In my opinion, there were two notable omissions from this list. The first is Gladiator. In terms of inspiring, I think it is definitley on par with Braveheart. It was the same message of strength in one's self.

Another one I thought should have been on was American Beauty. Now I know it isn't your traditional "Hooray!" kind of inspirational, but it does tell people to be who you are and to be happy. Just my thoughts.

Anyone agree?
Any other movies u feel were left out?

I thought that Remember the Titans should've been included. Not only is it inspirational from a sports/athlete standpoint, but also because of the obvious racial issues and how this team was able to inspire a whole town to believe in everyone and accept them no matter what race they were.

i totally agree-Remember the Titans should've been there.

i belive american history X should have been one there cuz when i watch that it was an amazing view of what that group of people think and how they can be changed so ithink that would have been good

Independance day could've been one. The entire world came together to fight for the right to live. The speech the president gives the morning of the battle still gives me goose bumps.

I also thought Mr. Holland's opus and Lean on Mean could've gotten nods also.

Dead Poet's Society was on the list. Why not The Emperor's Club?

I think the Lord of the Rings should be on the list, especially the Return of the King. The ring was destroyed by the smallest creature, a hobbit.
