I've seen worse stuff go to cinemas. Why didn't Fox just released it and got a nice pile of money? I mean they proved to be money grabbing bitches by ruining Hitman Max Payne and Dragonball.

I can understand how some yahoos get suckered in to seeing some of the crap hollywood produces and how 24:Redemption is much better. But you must understand that the production quality of 24 in genreal is better then 60% of the stuff that makes on to screen and thus a 24 film would have to be that much better.
By 24's standards, this was in no way fit for the big screen, it was drenched in made-for-tv.
It's a TV movie that is the prologue to the seventh season of 24. People who watch 24 will watch it. You may have seen worse in cinemas, but that has nothing to do with this film.
