I have just begun watching 24 for the first time buying a season a week on dvd and am about to begin season 4 could someone tell me when in the timeline does this movie take place is it any good and do I need to see it to enjoy the series after it takes place thanks

thanks thats what I wanted to know I just finished season four and once again the story was unpredictable think thats what I like about it you never guess where it is going to go. Can't wait to start season 5 now jack is "dead" never saw that coming but I did think there should have been a chinese guy witness the death. So far the series has been fantastic

Wow, yea season 4 was amazing! But here's good news for you, season 5 is even better. Season 5 is considered the best among all 7 because it is the year 24 won an emmy for. It's my second favorite season, season 1 is my favorite.
24 is definatly my favorite show, and yea I loved Jack faking his death twist, it's great.

have caught up with 24 now can't wait for season 8 but think CTU us needed in the show as the FBI are morons. It was a shame bill got killed and would have prefered tony had stayed dead. I am not sure where the show can go now as all the terrorist threat boxes have been ticked more than once nuclear/chemical/biological etc
