Can't believe there will be no more of Lillies

I thought it showed real promise. I am happy that it's on dvd but this is just sad :(

I'm with you, DylanMoranFan. I found Lilies in the BBC America catalog and rented all the discs from Netflix. I LOVED IT!

If anyone from the BBC reads this, PLEASE consider making more episodes! Lilies was so superior to so much of the trash that is on both American and British television.

Hear, hear! I just finished the third disc and I'm so sad that there won't be anymore. This was one of the most well done, honest shows on television. I can't believe that crappy Robin Hood keeps getting renewed and this didn't. These characters were so real and complicated, it was hard to not empathize with them. I want to know what happens to Father Melia and Iris, and whether Billy ever tells his family about Nazzer.

I just finished the series. I'm so sorry there won't be a second series.

At least it's consolation that there were 8 excellent episodes and nothing to ruin them. This is one show that didn't get the chance to jump the shark.
