4/10. Here's why:

DIE FÄLSCHER was made in 2007. By that year, Holocaust had become a tired sub-genre because most of those movies relied on emotional manipulation and shock value. This movie is no different. Sure, some scenes show moments we haven't seen before in film, but there are no new points of view. You know how most Europeans movies are overlooked for being too slow? This one is the complete opposite: It's too rushed. It goes from event to event without allowing the audience to get into the story. Well, actually it's only that way during the 1st part. During the rest, it becomes less rushed. Enough to absorb what's happening on-screen, but not enough to care about the characters. It's too late by that point.

Any thoughts?
