Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.

The jokes weren't even funny.

Don't spend a dime buying this on DVD.

Don't even watch it if it's free, your 2 hours are more valuable.

I'd only watch this movie if I was paid to do so.

Save your money/time people!!!

reply

I watched the movie yesterday and it was great...especially with Jessica Alba in it! You need to see it and you will change your mind!

reply

It wasn't super bad but it wasn't good either (2 out of 5 in my book and I like Mike Myers).

The worst movie I have seen is Bewitched-it was SO BAD.

reply

This movie was surely terrible, I'll give you that, but I've seen worse and it's called "Kevin and Perry Go large." Seriously.

reply

This movie made Bewitched look like Citizen Kane.

reply

you are absolutely right...this was the absolute worst movie I've ever seen. Clint eastwood could write a funnier movie than this. I honestly felt bad for all the actors involved in this movie. Mike Myers has completely ruined my impression of him as a good comedian.

This was a complete waste of my life, anyody who likes this movie has an IQ of 17

reply

Why feel bad for the actors, they are the ones who read the script and decided to do the movie. All the actors in the movie are pretty well known, why feel bad for them if they decided to do the movie. All actors and actresses make bad movies from time to time, you can't have a hit all the time, even Spielberg has had a few duds.

I liked the movie, wasn't expecting much except some slapstick humor and that's what it was. I guess i have an IQ of 17 because i liked the movie.

Would I rather be feared or loved? Um.. both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.

reply

I went in expecting to find extremely ridiculous humor, and that is exactly what i got. I loved the movie! I recommend it to all of my friends!

psu,
Could you name some SS duds? Thanks.

Spielberg duds? 1942 and The Flintstones leap to mind...

I suspect the problem is that you have too many paperclips up your nose

Rat Race is the worst movie I have seen. But this comes pretty close.

My experience of watching this was basically this:

"Okay, this guy made Austin Powers, soon I will be laughing just as much as I was in that movie"

-TIME PASSES-

"Hm.. ok, so the movie hasn't quite started yet, I am sure there will be something funny soon, after all, this man is Austin Powers!"

-MORE TIME PASSES-

"What the heck is going on, how can Austin Powers be unfunny?? Why does he keep doing those weird things, like that cringy 'hee hee hee' thing? Is that supposed to be a joke?"

And it went downhill from there.

Jetsfan, you are an ass. I saw this movie and it is not as bad as what you say or some others say. I heard your comments and otehrs and I decided to give it a try. I actually enjoyed it. This movie is really an Austin Powers movie. Any person liking the Austin Powers movie is likely yo like this movie. If I remember correctly the Austin Powers movies were big hits. Has our taste in humor changed that much in the last five years. I say if you like the Austin Powers movies you will like this movie.

Hang on...wait a minute!!
You walked out of this movie only 5 minutes after it started?
And you say that you've tried to watch it about 3 times since......
I really find it hard to believe alot of peolpe on this site sometimes.
Here you are bagging the hell out of a movie that you haven't even really seen.
I've watched it...and loved it...
I think people have to stop being so *beep* uptight...

reply

It's pretty much fact that this was a terrible movie. Dull plot, weak uncreative jokes. Austin Powers had a lot going for it, this was full of misses, nothing like Austin Powers. Though he was clearly going for that effect, he fell way short. I couldn't finish this movie and I like silly movies and even some straight to DVD releases, which this wasn't even good enough to be.

reply

This is a funny movie. Maybe it's because I have a weakness for Mike Myers, I grew up with films like Austin Powers. I adore his acting style, he brought me into comedies.

Don't go by other *beep* experiences, just watch it for yourself.

I'm actually suprised that it got 3.2 out of 10 =S

reply

I agree that this is the WORST big budget comedy I have ever seen. It seemed liked they got 13 year olds to write this. I've seen most of the cast be pretty good in other movies. The concept wasn't that bad but the execution was horrible.

reply

Agreed, I think Mike M. has lost his mind!

So there's something wrong with him liking football? And it somehow goes right back to America bashing. Ignore time.
