Is there such thing? Cause everyone can speak what they want but ultimately there are consequences. Whether there is a backlash or slander, there will be a reaction. Other countries have harsher consequences, they may imprison you or even kill you, but that doesn't mean there's no such thing of speaking your mind.
I don't know why Americans pride themselves on the freedom of speech........Bottom line there is no freedom of speech.........
Freedom of speech is the right to voice your opinions, and make them open to scrutiny and judgment. It's every persons right to be able to speak about what they want and not have to be silenced. But when you use this right, you must understand that whoever you are speaking to also has a right to speak freely.
It's not like our constitution has some super power where the "Freedom of Speech" means you can say whatever you want and no one can do anything about it.
Americans pride ourselves on freedom of speech because it inspires debate among different ideals. To put your idea's out there and have someone listen to them, and give feedback (whether positive or negative) is what makes us human. To be so afraid to speak against your government, or against your neighbor because you will be punished is not only inhuman, it's immoral.
