I would like to know why the President feels he can spend millions upon millions of dollars on making Iraq a "better" place but why not use that money to help the millions of people in your own country. I mean the cost of tuition to get a good education is unexceptably high. What about poverty, immigrants, and social programs to keep people off the streets and to better themselves. What about the cost of medication and health care. Before you plan to be a big person and "help" other countries maybe you should take a look at your own. A nation should be judged on how it helps it lowliestt class of citizens and there can always be room for improvement.

By the way if you read history about the World Wars you'll notice how Americans only joined the wars after they had been affected by it. In the first world war an American submarine was accidently sunk by Germans and that was one America decided to join. The only reason America joined the Second World War was when you got the s**t bombed out of you in Pearl Harbour. IF those two events hadn't happened then Americans would have been content in believing they were better then everyone else and not join in to stop the dictators of those wars.

So please learn some history and stop using the War card as a means to explain how great America is because you are not going to win.

if our president were to be a democrat, would republicans dishonor him, i think so. and quit being so stereotypical, because the majority of democrats are NOT by any means "rebellious against authority". we may not agree with his political beliefs. You making statements like this towards democrats is exactly what you accuse the democrats of doing. Why is it that you can sit there and call me uneducated a naieve simply because I believe in equality for all citizins? I know more college educated people than I do uneducated, and guess what? They're all DEMOCRATS. Did it ever occur to you that even people that aren't on welfare are democrats? I garuntee you that I know more about American law and the world wars, AND this war to be matter of fact. I know more about 9-11 than you do, and I know more about the presidents policies than you do. Do you know how I form my opinions? By reading, researching, "studying hard" and deciding what I believe is right. Has it ever occured to you that maybe the real "dictators" aren't the ones in other countries, but instead here in our own? Do you know that our government keeps information from it's public to cover up it's own faults? Did you know that our government is taking innocent foreign hostages one from Canada, to undisclosed military locations and torturing them for information that they don't have? It never ceases to amaze me how many people will sit there and open their mouths to be spoon fed by the American government. I in no way shape or form hate my country, in face I love this country, however I do not agree with and do not support what our government is doing. Like the first reply said, if American's didn't challenge authority, we'd still be paying taxes through our noses to the Brittish royals.

And to answer your question, if my neighbor was making threats but not acting, the smart thing to do would be to call the police after the first incident. In no way was the Iraq war anything like that. If you want to lower the situation down to your comparasin, This would be like my neighbor 2 blocks over telling me he was going to kick my dog if it pooped in his yard again.

Another thing, how is it that you (i'm assuming) are a grown adult, yet you can't seem to articulate yourself any better than a 13 year old child? How is it that I'm so unintelligent, uneducated and naieve that I'm only sixteen and still sound more put together, informed, and educated than you do?

Has it not registered in your brain that the President of this country, the one that is supposed to be doing such an amazing job to protect us, has been quoted as saying that we need to keep the war going to save our $2 gas prices?

Maybe you should think about where your beloved Bush's priorities are.
