Very basic problem with the plot - Famke is too hot for this character

Okay, so they tried to make her look all grungy and grimy and greasy, the "I just woke up from 3 hours of sleep" look, and all that, but Famke is just too smoking hot to ever pull that off.

More importantly, nobody's gonna be punching out Famke. Ain't happening.

But putting all kidding aside, someone who's involved in that world, hustling, pool playing, card sharping, etc., who was that gorgeous, would be involved in some major sex action. Either she'd be turning tricks, or, at least more realistically, all the marks that she was playing against would be hitting on her constantly. I mean, this is Famke Janssen we're talking about here. No way they'd just think, "Oh, she's a really talented pool player. I want to play her and beat her." No, they'd be thinking, "Holy crap, she's that hot, AND she plays a mean game of pool? I gotta ask this girl out!" The whole movie would be a constant come on. Anyone who ever beat her would say, "Well, I'm sure we can work something out. We can take it out in trade."
