Great movie
Anybody else think this has a lot of missing potential and is really badly done and yet kind of love it?
My guilty pleasure I guess.
I think the story itself was great, and the emotions it made you feel were proof of that.
However, I would have toned down some of the visuals and colors, and made it look a little bit more "real".
Make it look a bit more 'like everything else'? Why?
People constantly complain "movies never try to give us anything new and different', yet when a movie gives us something new and different it's castigated for it.
It was just a little bit to bright and colorful for my eyes, that's all.
But I'm old!
Not an original look - see Spy Kids 3D or Shark Boy and Lava Girl.
However I think what they tried to go for was really cool, some scenes show the potential like one in a locker I think.
That is my biggest problem with this movie, the potential is excellent. Still so fun, don't know why.
