'it didn't have any plot'

I like this movie. I'm not surprised that a lot of people dislike it -- both its style and content are completely unconventional. But what does surprise me is the particular complaint you sometimes hear, "it didn't have any plot."

Of course it didn't have any plot. So what? That's like complaining that Casablanca didn't have car chases. It wasn't supposed to. That wasn't the goal of the director.

Well, it kinda had a plot. Although, reading the back of the dvd case is the one and only way to actually know this. More dialogue wouldn't have hurt. And making it a tad more interesting wouldn't have killed ol' Lucifer. I get the art film aspect. And there's alot about this movie that I consider impressive, but when someone calls SVD boring, it's hard to argue. Have you seen the other 2 parts of the trilogy? The 2nd one, ReGOREgitated Sacrifice is the only one I would recommend, with a straight face.

Eh, I was disappointed with the second one after falling in love with the first. The third is still on my to-see list.
