The women can be plucked out without making any difference to the movie

Perhaps this is a cynical perspective... but what I liked about the movie was that the female characters (excluding the daughters and the mothers, that is) could be easily removed without making any difference at all to the movie.
Wonder how Dia Mirza and Neha Dhupia agreed to such meaningless roles.
