not that bad
when i walked into the theater (not being able to get the tickets for Spiderman 3)
my expectations were very low since i had read the reviews earlier and ever the grapevine indicated to steer clear of this film. But incidentally it was playing in the same multiplex where i went to watch Spider man 3. Now i have seen the film and i do strongly feel that its not as bad as it seems to be, it gets you hooked from the word go..it pace is good, and its also well acted in parts esp Shabbir Ahluwalia (who gets over his soap opera hammy acting and does a good job with whatever small part he gets)The film also makes use of lot of hand held camera and steady cam shots to give a very documentary feel to the action..and it was good to see Vivek Oberoi gettin back to the kind of role that suits him.
The places where film suffers is the music- the songs are forced and out of place and slows down the story, Tusshar Kapoor is terribly mis-casted and the flashback nerrative was not necessary..also towards the climax when all the gangsters are trapped inside a flat in Lokhandwala, they start to make phone calls to there families..which wasnt really needed..but otherwise its a 2 hours long fast paced film and it deserves to be watched once..trust me,this is better than Dhoom 2.
