Did I fall asleep, or did it take Tennison approximately 2 seconds from the time she received her niece's call until she was rescuing her? It seemed very abrupt: one instant her niece is in mortal danger; the next she's being saved by her aunt who has been tele-transported to the spot, with uniforms in tow.

Of course it's not real time, but it was either bad uncharacteristically bad editing or an artistic choice that made for such an abrupt, jarring transition. It totally killed the suspense of the moment.
