IS this the much reported re-make of Cathy come home??

"Savage stressed that it’s not a remake of Cathy Come Home. Rather, he and producers Ruth Caleb and Lucy Hillman have made a film that explores many levels of the social strata.

Dominic Savage is the director on this project. The quote above is from the Daily Mail last week.

He is a miracle . . . really.

I think the makers wanted to hit that 'Play for Today' vibe with this film.
