A preposterous movie. Just getting’ its entire thrill out of the idea, playing Russian roulette. Ridiculous to think, this movie would raise any ethical or moral questions. Only the very simple minded would enjoy in doing so. Not to speak about any “media”-criticism or whatever. It is completely fatuitous. It is more than enough to read the synopsis on imdb.com. Don’t waste time and money on this one!
Its not supposed to raise ethical or moral questions. It's supposed to be mockumentary, look it up.
shareI liked this film, I just finished it and really really liked it. In fact its one of the most original films I've ever seen. The suspense just kills you (no pun intended). I don't understand why so many people are bashing this film.

This is probably the first movie ever to really turn my gut. Strange to say, but my gut twisted by the idea, and I turned off the sound because I didn't want to hear the gunshot. And my favorite type of movies are war movies with full metal jacket as one of the favorites - which include a suicide.
And I just saw another game of death - death race. which was good on its own but I prefer the original death race 2000.
The best part was the reaction when it sank in what she had created. Her beeing shot was a strange way of justice, but it somehow was an ironic end.
I'll not watch it again though. too disturbing.
I agree, but i didn't like the ending. I was hoping for a suicide driven by guilt.

shareThank you cantoi! I've been looking through the boards hoping that I'm not the only one who thought she chewed up the scenery. I think the level of acting is poor to say the least; and not just Eva Mendes, but the ENTIRE cast. Soap opera caliber.
