My review of this movi.....

Ok... I'm a humanist and I personally like religous movies. They give u this warm feeling when you're finished watching them, though this one.....

While watching it I couldn't help but swear continuously, it's like I contracted during this movie, a mild form of tourette syndrome. ok first:

The plotline is just plain boring, I was hoping this was a followup to The Order,(I enjoyed I-claudius the series so imagine how boring this is)
but it's not. The acting is foul apart from one or two characters and I dont know what a welish accent sounds like but I live in england and hell that sounds more american than anything else.(infact when they are yelling you can hear it)

I have to admit that the camera angles were very nicely implemented in this movie and the lighting but apart from that the Logic and reason was completely thrown out the window!.

ok a few things that bugged me while watching this. The sin eater, he's been living in that cave for 20 years? and at the end he finally realizes it's all a fraud?, for Gods sake he's been living BY HIMSELF for 20 YEARS, he has a lot to think about, can he be that stupid??? Then when he takes off his hood, hey he's quite clean shaven and not bad skin condition for someone living in a cave for 20!!! years!! by himself!, and what's with all the odd noises?.

This movie was made in 2007, the CGI could have been a little better. The one cgi scene they have is horrible. I Love "the thing" and it has no Cgi and beats most horror movies out there, is it so hard to film someone falling off a log.

The Indians who were crossing the log were all holding hands in one line, I mean how stupid and non-logical is that!.

For an indian who's bleeding to death, damn he can sure take his time and draw, not to mention gaze blankely while watch his fellow people fall to their death

Did they plan to kill the entire village before hand or was it a spree of the moment thing?. I mean even the americans had a reason! however stupid it was.
Just pull out a gun while your family is there and hope you kill all of them?(my brain hurts!)

The mother who explains not to look into the sin eaters eyes and why, I had to replay that part five times to understand what she said and no it wasnt the accent it was a bad accent and her muffling the words.

The plotline is basically a misguiged people following a misguided religion, then following another religion, oh and no justice, no miracles.

- bad acting, bad Cgi, bad plot line, logicality is that of the twi-light zone,
bias, snorts from the actors, same scenes , bad , gives headaches

+ Camera angles, semi-good music, backround

Take away the actors, and the soundtrack. and you might have a good movie on your hands!
