Loved this movie!

This is a great movie that the whole family can watch. Yes, there is some violence, but the movie so beautifully brings The Message across, and I teared up in several places.
My daughter is 11, and we skipped the part where Kai beat up his son and the Man of God, simply because she didn't need to witness the violence in order to understand the movie. As far as the violence in the Indian village is concerned, she watched it and thought it was extremely sad what they did.

The little girl is a fabulous actress, and all the actors fit together beautifully. I was very touched by the character of the Sin Eater and felt a lot of compassion for him.

Henry Thomas is great as the Man of God, and is very believable as a martyr.
It once again, shows what can happen to people (i.e. suicide) if they have to live with a terrible secret and so much guilt that they think the only way out is to kill themselves. Not everybody in this world has heard of Jesus, and I pray that those people will hear the Word of Truth when they need it the most.

This is a great movie for youth gatherings at church as well.
Go see this movie and be touched.
