Wonderful movie!!!

I just finished watching this movie and I can't say enough about it. It is beautifully shot, the acting is first rate, the story is intriguing and unique, and as a Christian, I love the overall theme of redemption and forgiveness through the ORIGINAL and ONLY sin eater, Jesus Christ. I was pleasantly surprised to see Michael Landon Jr's involvement with this film...while I was watching it, I thought of how much it reminded me of Little House on the Prairie ...his dad's series. All I can say is well done Mr Landon, you have made an exquisite, touching, powerful movie...your dad would be proud.

I have not read the novel that this is based on, but I have heard that it is much better than the movie. But nevertheless, I agree that this is a wonderful movie. It is one of the best movies that I have seen.

I am in the middle of watching it and I now want to read the book. I wonder if Michael Landon Jr is a Christian.
