Transparent propaganda and hilariously ironic

Beside being nauseated at the utterly transparent propaganda for Christianity I found it hilarious that the movie was basically about substituting one absurdly ridiculous concept of redeeming sin (the sin eater) with another "sin eater" that is equally absurd and ridiculous (Jesus the savior forgiving sin debt etc). What's even funnier is that both "sin eaters" are based on ancient pagan mythology.
