Dan Fogler (the fat guy) ruined this movie.

I love the 80's theme of this movie, even though some of the nostalgia was dumbed down and seemed to be be trying too hard. Almost like 80's for Dummies. Topher Grace and Teresa Palmer were awesome. This would have ended up being a favorite movie of mine had it not been for Dan Fogler. I cannot stand this guy. I don't know how he got into show business and into movies. He damn near ruined this movie for me. He's fat, untalented and he thinks he's stealing the show in every scene he's in. He may actually be worse than Jonah Hill. At least Jonah Hill had Superbad. This untalented fat bastard had Fanboys, one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. In fact, Dan Fogler is one of the many reasons Fanboys was a steaming pile of dog *beep* Overall, Take Me Home Tonight ended up being pretty good. The second half of the movie redeemed the Fogler-ized first half.

You keep throwing out random fat insults as if that validates your point. We get it, he's fat. So are tons of other comedic actors. He just needs to get better roles, he was perfect for this movie but Balls of Fury was awful and Fanboys was a letdown.

Take Me Home Tonight - 8/10
Deathly Hallows Part II - 8/10

He's just too damn sexy not to like. We need nude scenes with him pronto!

I will cut you

I found him funny as hell, despite being an overactor he definitely has a brash personality that fit the part.

hes really funny in this

I thought he pretty good in this film, perfectly cast.
I did not like him in Fanboys, but here, he shines.

You're right about fanboys. It's not a subtle movie but he made everything else seem subtle by comparison.

He was basically the only reason I didn't turn it off.

In my eyes, Anna Faris was the fish out of water in this movie. Her entire character arc was pointless and boring, and the movie would've been better without her.
