Got music store wrong...

I was in college and worked at record/video store Licorice Pizza during 87-88. During that time period, you would not have seen Madonna and Eurythmics large-scale point of purchase advertising on the walls. It'd be more like Cutting Crew, B-52's and Beastie Boys advertising. And there would have been a few rows of big-ass compact disk cases... They were the brand new medium coming out at the time. On a side not, girl's hair was much, much bigger. Also... The cool guys in the movie were wearing IZOD and LaTigrè pastel polo shirts. Those phased out around 85ish and the new bleeding madras overshirts, Generra and Bojos were the new hot items. But still, great movie!

Seems like no one involved in the creative team was of the right age to notice and appreciate things like this at the time. It's all good to know :-)
