This movie is actually brilliant

I say history will vindicate this film. The main premise is pretty lame, but Al Pacino steals the show with his hilarious meta-performance as a bizarre caricature of himself. From his Shakespeare-induced breakdown to his over-the-top overtures toward Adam Sandler in drag, Pacino's turn is a hilariously trollish deconstruction of postmodern celebrity.
