Am I the only one who like Sharpay much better than gabriella.
Gabriella is just a typical marysue, miss perfect, all star boyfriend, I'm-so-nice-to-everyone-but-I'm-not-popular type of girl.
She's really annoying, and doesn't seem to give troy any space.
and to be honest, I liked sharpay and all her "mean" actions.
And Gabriella's break up song? I couldn't even sit through it.
I wish Gabriella just got pushed into the pool, and sharpay got to sing that horribly stupid song with that ugly pretty boy.

"Aw, little French boy. Do you mind if I dress you up like a doll and put makeup on you?"

I like Sharpay she is hilarious when she scares Troy. I though Gabriella was better in the first one then the second

I actually like BOTH the villainess (Sharpay) and the heroine (Gabriella). Both Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens have done very well in their roles so far, and I haven't found either of them annoying!

After initially being smitten with Gabriella, I have to say i think Sharpay would be far more fun to hang around with. Not that she'd want to hang around with me, but I can dream!

And I thought this movie was supposed to make gabriella look /good/.
Ah well, I didn't like her from the start.

Yes Gabriela is very boring. Sharpay and Troy would've been more interesting.

You're not the only one. I too prefer Sharpay than Gabriella. I actually wish Troy would prefer Sharpay. Oh well, one can only dream.

I actually like the outtakes in the ending between Zac and Ashley. They're funny.

My favorite outtakes with those two:

During the credits when she's trying to show how their "skin tone compatible" and when the baloons get caught on the club Zac is trying to hand it to her.

The other one I love is when the golf cart fails to move and Zac tries to push it while Ashley keeps hitting the pedal, then we hear Zac scream "Put it in forward!" and she yells back (while dying laughing mind you) "It is!"

It was cut-out and paste characterization, but entertaining. The main point is the music.

yeah, i think that too
and in HSM 1 it's ironic, Sharpay and Ryan is far better in music and dance than Troy and Gabriella

Oh, I so agree! I can't stand Gabriella and her annoying giggling throughout the movie, Sharpay is more fun. Also Gabriella is so sweet and good that I feel sich afterwards,

I agree, I would take Ryan and Sharpay over Troy and Gabriella any day.

Gabriella wasnt very sweet when she tricked Zac into singing with her instead of Sharpay. After he promised to sing with Sharpay and it was actually announced that she was going to sing with him, giggling Gabriella shows up and humiliates Sharpay in front of her family. I cant believe that Disney would portray something so despicable as ok and we are all supposed to believe that Sharpay has no hard feelings in the end? This turned me off the whole movie, no-one, deserves that treatment. Its ok to stab someone in the back is definitely not the message I would want my daughter to receive from this movie.

Sharpay > Gabriella, the villains are always more interesting than the heroes.

That's true, Sharpay is easliest the best character of the film, followed by her brother, they make the movie bearable to watch.

I like Sharpay better too. I was probably the only Troy and Sharpay shipper among my friends when these movies were "in". I can't stand Gabriella (but I LOVE "Gotta Go My Own Way, it's my favorite song from HSM2) and I just always found her persoality to be so annoying and clingy.
