shareActually, until two weeks ago, SC legislation was giving a 20 percent tax credit for salaries and expenditures. They have now decided to cut that back to ten percent on out of state employees and furthermore, have capped the per-employee rebate at 3500 dollars, to try to encourage motion pictures to hire from the non-existent south carolina labor pool. This will go into effect July 1st. Because of this, we lost the Bruce Willis/Morgan Freeman film, Last Full Measure and Army Wives is threatening/planning to leave Charleston at the end of this season. Should have known this wouldn't last forever. Oh yeah, JBilton, this film did qualify for all tax rebate incentives.
