There have been over 12 votes....how are people rating this movie? Is it online or something?

They've screened the movie overseas already. I know Berlin had a showing of "Gospel Hill" last month. So some people have seen the film. I'm just wondering when they'll have it in the States...

It is showing at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival on 11/8. People may be seeing it at the various Film Festivals. Danny Glover is supposed to be there tomorrow night. I'm going to try and make it.

It was also shown at the Woodstock Film Festival at the start of October; that's how I saw it at least.

I just watched a screener. This film starts out weak, but it grows on you. Pretty much your standard black-white, rich-poor, young-old conflict, but the performances make up for the script's weaknesses. I gave it 7 out of 10 stars.

How lucky for your uncle! Giancarlo Esposito seems like a great guy to be friends with, and this film is testament to his compassion. Any anecdotes you'd care to share?

Thanks for sharing that. Giancarlo Esposito sounds like an incredible person, and I'm sure your uncle is touched by his visits. Best wishes to you and your uncle.

I saw it at the Santa Cruz Film Festival, on Sunday, and really enjoyed it! I thought Danny Glover was great in it, and the storyline kept me interested and carying about the characters.

The DVD Rip is also online for download on mininova.com. in great quality. Not a great way to see this, since some say it's stealing, but it seems this is difficult to find, so it's an option. And if it's good i'll still buy the DVD to support it, if it's available.
