loved the first, but this one was blah

i think the first movie was so awesome, but then this movie,what happened?
the pace came to a sudden stop.

i thought death note was about killing lots of people, but we ended up with the main guy loosing his memory,then the girl being tortured,and


WHY did they even let that weird guy stay on the force?
he did nothing,he just sat there eating stuff.

then the ending,did the anime end that way?

that was a poor ending.
