Real Bad

Avoid this like the plague. I've seen better acting in porn movies. It doesn't help that I saw the DaVinci Code last weekend. This looks like a high school project in comparison.

I rented this out of curiosity when I saw it on the shelf the same day "The Da Vinci Code" came out. This movie is an insult to the viewer and everyone involved. It was slapped together so fast that I could find no reference to it anywhere on the internet for several days after I watched it. I just looked it up today to see if anyone had claimed it yet. Somebody must have made some money on it somehow. There is no other excuse or motive for such trash. The lack of quality of the production reminds me of some cheap porn. Do you suppose Henrikson and Howell owed somebody a debt they couldn't refuse? I see 8 people actually gave this a 10 rating. Could that many crew members have had the gall to claim this as their best work?

LOL. I can just see the conversation now.

Cameraman: The Da Vinci Treasure is my best work!

Friend: Dude, that's your only work.

Cameraman: Well... it's still my best...

You really don't know much about asylum movies do you man. It's not supposed to be well put together or anything, that's why it's funny, you can't expect a good movie, the makers obviously didn't think this was a good piece of work.

indeed...absolutley crap....i was impressed with the supposed scenes in London...was it all filmed in one room and a single street, but from many angles? hehehe

Why would Lance Henrikson be associated with this film??

reply

Perhaps for the same reason C. Thomas Howell is: they gotta pay bills.

Howell seems to be have a new career in making 'parallel' movies; last year, he was in the insanely bad 'War of the Worlds' (one of three that came out in March 2005).

[update 3 hours later: I happened to find it in BB's Previously Viewed for a few bucks and had to grab it for the same reason I own all four version of 'War of the Worlds']

Just watching an old C. Thomas Howell flick on TV (Secret Admirer), and was curious to see what he was up to these days. Then I stumbled upon this. I'm going to pretend I never saw this page...

What we got here is... failure to communicate.

it is a horrid movie, i just watched the preview for it on ON demand for my cable area, i laughed they basically copied and modified da vinci code with national treasure, people as film makers like this should be shot, they need originaility, not the #$cking hollywood copiers...
