Jumping
This is probably a dumb question but since it was known and understood that there couldn't be any rescue missions, why didn't the firefighters hold out those blankets that catch people who have to jump from high places?
shareThat's a great question. Much like the question of why they couldn't try to extinguish the fire from the helicopters. It's frustrating when you think more effort could've been put in to save more lives or at least try. I guess (?) they were caught off guard and hindsight is 20/20.
