How much was the budget for this crapfest?

And why the hell would LionsGate greenlight such an atrocity?

reply

People's strange obsession with clowns being scary for some reason I guess.

Well, I have an obsession with killer clowns. I think they are awesome, and can be scary. That is why I watch any clown horror movie I can find. But this movie was an atrocity.

i wouldn't say Lionsgate "greenlighted" it. That would mean they saw the script or were pitched the story, and then put up a bit of money or agreed to distribute it before it was even made. In fact, Lionsgate probably paid a few hundred bucks to buy the film from the movie makers.

Achilles613, thanks for the info, I hadn't heard that before. I have known a few filmmakers sell their movies for a ridiculous amount of money. But i guess anything to get their name out there. -_-

reply

Thats what Sundance is for...to sell your movie. I am guessing that they got a really low amount of money, and sucked off someone from lionsgate. I am really not even joking, this really could have only got picked up by lionsgate because they knew someone there.

reply

Lionsgate picked it up, because thats what they do. They pick up low to no budget films for a cheap..then sell them to every rental store in the world...When you can pay 5 grand for something and make 200,000 dollars on it just like that...Well, you do it. Lionsgate Home Entertainment Will pick up anything that is low budget Horror...seriously.

Good Cop and Bad Cop left for the day.
I'm a different kind of cop.
