Yeah, I'm really confused. Do we have to choose our own ending or is than a proper ending because I don't want it to be the sad version. :(

as for the ending, it's clear to me that it's the happy one due to the fact that nathan has the painted clothes on in the beginning
I think it was a comprimise between having a happy ending in case there is no second series and an open ending in case they decide to do another...

i gotta agree that they were saying that the optiom of not telling the trut was the right choice and they ended up together.... and the guys did too... the other option was catching the bus and telling her... and she goes off to london and thats that. when he walked back in the bar in non paint clothes that was the 2nd option to just give it an open ended cnace for a second series .. which thay can do if they go ith the bad ending

Well I reckon it's meant to be the happy ending, seeing as at the beginning of the ep, Nathan was sitting outside at night with a beer in paint-stained clothes saying to us "what if..?" I reckon we're meant to assume that he's sitting there after the day's events and is reflecting on what could have happened? Plus the credits were showing all the Fi/Nathan bits to create a happy feel? Or maybe thats just my own interpretation.. Well anyway I hope it was the happy ending! What a great series, so amusing and funny :)
