Futureweapons?

More like ten year and older weapons. It's not like I expect the US to just bring out all their weapon prototypes for the world to see, but stop acting like these weapons will soon be coming out for US troops. They've had all these weapons for years or decided that they were too expensive or uneccessary.

I wouldn't be surprised if you're totally right, the people demo'ing the products all seem to be third parties / contractors, not the actual military.

They are trying to sell it seems kinda, I bet a few gun nuts (you?) would even know about some of these products and could confirm if they are old or not.

I watched an episode where the host was in a demining vehicle and I asked myself what an ancient invention had to do with future weapons.

I was so unimpressed and annoyed as I was expecting to see some something cool.

Oh yeah, and a helicopter that could fly by itself. Big whoop!

Every god damn airplane in the world could take off and land itself. The only reason pilots are in an airplane is to give a (false) sense of security to the passengers.

Rubbish. Just one well-known example. Remember in January of this year when the pilot landed his plane on the Hudson River shortly after it took off from New York's LaGuardia? The "Miracle on the Hudson?" Both of its engines went out and he saved the lives of the 150 people onboard with his flying skill. Nothing but an onboard human pilot could have done that.

You caught me with my pants down. You are absolutely right in that matter. I should have been more specific. I was refering to landing and taking of.
