I'm glad it's finally over for ECW

I think most people will be pleased. Finally let ECW rest in piece

Yes. Agree 100%. When I think of ECW, I think of Paul Heyman's ECW that was from 1993-2001. Not the ECW that was on Sci-Fi. The new program that will take it's place, WWE NXT (next generation) will be pretty good, imo. It will be the up and comers looking to break onto the scene in WWE and NXT is where they have to prove themselves. Sort of a televised develpomental type deal. I believe ol Vinny Mac has finally come up with a good idea. As a matter of fact, WWE NXT is what should have debuted on Sci-Fi back in 2006 instead of a horribly watered down ECW. I have a vast library of ECW footage from the REAL ECW (1993-2001). When I want to watch ECW, that is what I turn on. I don't ever want to see WWE's version of ECW again.

Those who refer to work as the highlight of their lives obviously don't have one.

You know, it's not often that something has 2 endings. So, after tonight, I guess it's RIP ECW 1993-2001 and 2006-2010. Some want to remember ECW the way it was under Paul Heyman. Others want to remember ECW the way it was under the WWE banner. At any rate, it has the distinction of dying twice. The rise and fall and rise again and fall again of ECW. All I know is, bury the thing already and let's get WWE NXT going.

ECW is finally dead and will stay dead this time. Time of death: 10:02 pm Central on Tuesday February 16, 2010. Now, put the flowers on it's grave, so we can get NXT rolling.
