just wondering how part 3 is. one was mheh, 2 was good. but i don't think any of the xenosaga will be as good xengears.

so what's the consensus on 3 so far?

I love it! I think that it is better than 1 and 2!!

sweet good to hear. i've only played like a 1/2 hour. i wanna play so bad. work sucks. at least the battle system isn't as boring and lame as ep1. graphics look great too!

Part 3 is easily the best gameplay-wise, and even story-wise as well.

Part 2 had a great story, but I wasn't a huge fan of the battle system. The mechs were actually useful compared to part 1, though.

I'd rank them

XS I - 9/10
XS II - 7/10 (mainly for story)
XS III - 10/10

This is the best RPG that I've ever played. I played Xenogears also, but this one is better in all the major aspects of what an RPG should be. All of the games in the series are excellent, mainly due to the epic story being told and the engaging battle systems used.
