What did he fly, I know it was that mech that served as the generator for the Dammerung but what exactly was it? Was it an A.G.W.S., A.M.W.S., or E.S.?

No, the database says that the Joshua wasn't an ES. I don't think it had an Anima vessel, but it did use the core of the Dammerung for power, then the original Zohar when it merged with Zarathustra.
