Not much discussion?

Hey everyone, have just ordered a copy of this DVD and want to stimulate some discussion...
I love being pleasantly surprised, and Noise did that for me. I saw this at the movies, and having seen 5 really bad "indy" movies in a row beforehand I was a little reserved. but wow it was just so minimalistic, so interesting and symbolic. I'm sure it's been said but the tinnitus and the way he unsuccessfully tried to drown it out with the tv and stereo and everything else was amazingly profound yet simple. Also when he talked about heaven or hell being a tiny millisecond as your is brain shutting down, just stuck with me since I saw it (and the way this related to the ending). Reminds me of a great opening sentence to a book i recently read, "i must be dead for there is nothing but blue snow and the furious silence of a gunshot." Nothing too over the top but to me this captures the same break down of time linearity and confusion and blabla, so many mixed emotions. So anyway, I thought this movie deserved a little more discussion than "DIS MOVIE IS OVERR8TED".
The main character seemed to distanced from the world around him, kind of depressed in that lack of feeling way. That character stuck with me most of all and it was great to see the movie was centered around him.
(Haven't seen this since the movies and have had a hard time trying to find quotes hence my blurred descriptions of the scenes.)
So anyone got anything!?
