How many episodes and how long?

there is a dvd on ebay that says karas vol 1 part 1-8. but i cant only find 3 half hour episodes. can someone please give the definate answer to this riddle?

When it is complete Karas will be 6 half our episodes. In the US and Europe they will be released as two dvds with 3 episodes on each.
