Yurine in Prophecy and Revelation

This may be a futile rant but I've got to do it. When I first watched Karas: The Prophecy I watched the English dubbed version as that is how it plays automatically and I thought that Yurine's voice was excellent, the voice matched the character perfectly in my opinion so why (fair enough she may not have been available or demanded too much money) could they not get her for Karas: The Revelation! instead they get Cree Summer who does VO work for practically every kids cartoon from Susie in Rug Rats (oh yes, i still remember!), to Star Wars: Clone Wars as Luminara, to Codename Kids Next Door (if you search her name on here you can see she has been in so much). Don't get me wrong, I think she does very good work (she started her career as Penny in the original Inspector Gadget series!), but because she has been in so much and she is so recognizable it ruins Yurine for me, changing her from a mysterious character with a hidden inner power to just another anime character.

It really was a shame.

Anyone else agree?

mabye they changed her voice because it was a different yurine from the first one because that one was killed by eko and a new one was born in the end.

Agreed. Just watched these again, this time with my son, and I really miss Piper's voice in the sequel. She has a very soothing, sexy voice that -- as you said -- went perfect with Yurine.
