How did Hugo find out about the cook?

I thought that was really weird. Did she specifically hook up with the guy because he has a big mouth or something?

It seems a bit odd that Hugo would found out about that, if she didn't tell him.

Well she told him she cheated when they were in therapy.

Maybe he knows someone else who spends a lot of time at the restaurant.
