I wish this movie was split in two
I'd gladly have watched the interviews and conversations by themselves, and left most of the tag-a-long shots of "someone famous doing everyday things" for another movie.
His answers (to the few good questions they got in) were surprisingly candid, real and interesting. It's extraordinary how his vanity and self-conscious honesty coexist in way that doesn't seem to contradict itself. A lot of fluff in this film, but enough substance to get a sense for what a fearsome, complex creature Lagerfeld is.
