Music

Does anyone know the name of the piece played when the girl gets off at her stop on the bus?

And then again at the end of the film when the scene returns to the same place?

I couldn't see it in the credits, but they were kinda hard to decipher. It's a choral sounding piece.

No music is played when the girl he is following gets off the bus, and I just tripled-checked the scene, with pleasure, to make sure.

The choral at the end is a chanson entitled Nymphes, Nappés by Renaissance composer Josquin Desprez (sometimes spelled Des Prez). Kings Women perform the song.

Other pieces in the film include:

Makedonsko Devojce (Macedonian Girl), performed by Arthur Bacon, Melanie Bonin, and Mine Haelberg, the café violinists and accordianist

Jean Michel Rivas - Voyage, Voyage, performed by Desireless

Migala - That Woman (Night At Les Aviateurs)

Migala - Style

Gasn Nign (Traditional Hasidic Dance), performed by Arthur Bacon, Melanie Bonin, and Mine Haelberg, the café violinists and accordianist

Ah I think the piece I am referring to is the Desprez. Thank you very much for the soundtrack listing; very helpful!

Thanks so much for posting it. I've been looking for it since I saw the film. But these music are hard to find, any suggestions where I might be able to get them? Much appreciated.

Um, perhaps there are some differences on the dvd releases (?) but I just double-checked that scene where 'she' gets off the tram and disappears 'round the corner of a nearby building and there is definitely choral music playing over the visual. The same choral music (Nymphes, Nappés) that ends the film. Anyway, that's all.

I'm not quite sure what piece of music the violinists played outside the cafe not long before the protagonist followed the woman. It is a beautiful and stunning piece.
