Do you have a "Sylvia"?

The other day I was recounting a "Sylvia" moment I had to some friends. About 15 years ago I was visiting London and locked eyes with a mystery girl, the kind of meaningful stare that's worth 1000 words though it lasts half a second. Then gone.

After I finished my story, at least 2 other people said they had similar moments with strangers in strange cities, faces that haunt them decades later with dreamy thoughts of "what if".

Although some people don't get this movie, I thought it materialized that feeling perfectly. I never went back to London and probably never will. Probably for the best. A dream is a wonderful thing to keep close to your heart.
