So... then wouldn't he go back to being a jerk? All the life lessons he learned he learned from having been made to be a tooth fairy. Or did I miss something??
I wondered about that as well, but the way I see it: What was the point of making him the tooth fairy? To teach him a lesson. It would be counter productive to take away his lesson and leave gaps in his memory. So I believe he must have remembered.
