Quit Haten on this Movie!! and the rock hasnt hit bottom

You people need to quit haten on this movie, yeah its not his best, i like his action flicks better, but he is very smart and has a smart agent, these movies he is doing are the same that arnold did hence (kidergarden cop), and i would like to know how the rock has hit rock bottom on this flick witch isnt that bad, and its ver similiar to the Gameplan, except this is hockey witha tutu,
Tooth fairy has grossed at of thurs 3-4-10 54.5 mill and thats competing against avatar, valentines Day, alvin and chimpmunks, blindside ect, and its still grossed more than its budget of 48 mill, and if you include its worldwide box office of 88.2 mill for a kids flick with a 48 mill budget, that is a sucess, not every movie has to make 100 mill to be a sucess, the people and the rock who made this flick are laughy at the critics all the way to the bank, so dont say the rock has hit rock bottom casue it didnt make 100 mill, ohh and by the way tooth fairy is still # 10 as of thurs, but will finally be knocked outta the top 10 due to alice if blunderland, but to be in the top 10 for 42 straight weeks, doesnt seem like a bomb, you all need to get your movies straight before you critize a flick, you dont have to like it, thats cool, but dont cut a guy down, casue look at all you of you on this site, just like me,making okay money, while the rock laughs at you all the way to the bank,

nobody cares how much his movies are making. we just care about how low quality his movies are as well as retarded in recent times. i would like to know what YOU think rock bottom is since you claim the rock hasn't hit it. i just can't imagine that it's any lower than this. tooth fairy? come on now, man. you can't possibly that was a good career move. look, i love the rock just as much as the next guy but at some point you're going to have to come to terms that he sold out and really sucks now.

Heard somewhere that he did Tooth fairy for his kids, but i think dwayne is a very charismatic guy, maybe not a great actor, but if you like him he makes certain movies more enjoyable. He should stop wasting time on hollywood popcorn crap and try a serious role, or adult comedies.

The funny part about your post as I pointed out in bold bits as well as the OP and lots and losts of posts on the threads for all his movies is you keep calling him The Rock.

His name is Dwayne. The Rock was a character. When he entered the WWF/WWE he was at first called Dwayne Johnson and was pused as being the sone of Peter Maivia. It wasn't until later when he turned heel he became The Rock.
When he's interviewed he won't allow them to say they have "the Rock" as a guest. He is happy to talk about wrestling, his career and The Rock, but he is always Dwayne. When asked about it he distinctly said it was to seperate the two. When he is in the WWE or doing something for them he is The Rock, when he isn't he is Dwayne.

Stone Cold is the same but to a smaller degree. His real name is Steve Williams, but he knows that for the world he is Austin and accepts that. Also it makes him money so he is stupid. What he doesn't do is say I am Stone Cold making films. He won't do the gestures, the walk and the catchphrases as he isn't being Stone Cold. Like Dwayne he says that his WWE character is just that. It's a character he created for wrestling.

People such as Flair and Hogan have crossed the line. They've been so taken over by their characters that they have become them and can't switch off. When you watch Hogan Knows Best which is a terrible show you see he still calls everyone "Brother" and talks about his "Pythons" and so forth.

Whether Dwayne is making good or bad films is something else entirely, but "The Rock" isn't making good or bad films.
Because of his links to wrestling he could go on to be a really big action star but he has things holding him back because of his fanbase. He is/was a rolemodel to a lot of kids and knows it. So making a film where he is killing and running around with machine guns etc he is very careful about. For the very reason you are showing. Oh look it's The Rock killing people. Oh look it's The Rock terrorising kids and children.
Dwayne has said that he wants to make "family" films and films that kids can see and that is fair enough. It's his choice when all is said and done.

I really can't see Dwayne ever going onto action films much as the fans of The Rock may wish him too. He want's to make fun movies and have a laugh. If he wanted to do all the throwing punches etc he only needs to give Vince a call and he could possibly walk into the biggest short term wrestling contract ever.

IMO Hollywood is missing out on a great opportunity. Pair him and Austin up for a comedy film. Something like stupid buddy cop, but no swearing and violence. The pair have a great chemistry together. It could be really good. Austin has said he would like to do a comedy with him.

This movie is good~ The haters will continue to hate, let them. Most of them will never even make 1/4th as much income as The Rock!

1/4 - i don't see these people making even 1% of what he has or will continue to earn.

I think he's a very funny guy, loads of charisma and surprisingly good comic timing/delivery... then again this guy was absolutely hilarious whilst at the WWE so not much of a surprise at all.

People also have to realize that this is a movie... FOR KIDS. Sure, many adults won't like it, but it's not geared towards us. My 10 year old daughter and 6 year old son just watched it and loved it (as did my wife, but she has her own issues, lol).

I'd still prefer seeing Dwayne in action films (except Doom), but when you are offered a movie role, it pays, and takes in at least some profit, you're still doing well. At least it was better than Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories.

Suck it up haters, rock has done some good movies since this one, journey 2 was awesome, and i cant remember others, oh yeh some action movies, but point being, this movie was fine, good family./kids flick and he survived it. Go rock!
