Tired of all the people voting 1 who haven't even seen the movie.

Yeah it looks dumb and ridiculous and the previews are bad. But the movie is much better then the previews and the good parts aren't even shown in the previews. The Rock makes fun of fairy's for half the movie, even he thinks its ridiculous. The movie is actually decent. Obviously some people aren't going to like it, but if they have actually seen the movie they can vote a 1. But don't vote a 1 cause you think it looks stupid and you don't want Rock in any more kids movies. Seriously.

I agree. Juding a movie based on previews and commercials is dumb.

True but that is different than actually rating it. If from the previews you judge a movie as not worth seeing, fine but in my opinion giving it a 1 on IMDb or elsewhere without seeing it is just plain dumb.

With a userID like yours you should appreciate why a rating should not be given for a movie if you are solely basing it on previews and interviews. It unfair to all those involved with the film.

Never seen it. Most likely will never see it. Just gave it a 1. It has the rock that's all I need to know.

I saw this movie (unfortunately) and gave it a 1 because the system wouldn't allow me to give it the negative 10 it deserves. In the theater where I saw it, there was not once even the most tentative chuckle to be heard for the entire movie - certainly not from me. That's because this movie IS NOT FUNNY. It's a paint-by-numbers effort to extol wholesome values from people who wouldn't know value if it bit them.

You are obviously a "Rock" fan - fine, go watch The Rock in the privacy of your basement, where you won't inflict it on others the way fine "music" lovers inflict their rap garbage on everyone else on the bus. I will never get back the 100 minutes of my life I wasted on this worthless dreck and I've now done my part to help others not waste a moment of theirs. People, don't waste your time - especially your children's time! - on this awful cr@p. There is not a redeeming moment in this movie - not one. Seriously.

I took my kids to this movie, and found it painful to sit through. Dwayne can't act, and the entire concept was poor. Writing, direction, and acting. I gave this movie a 2/10, and that was only because my son laughed a couple of times. I save my ones for those truly special movies.

Who are you to tell people how to vote? I voted zero because movies are automatically stupid if they have the Rock in them and so I don't need to watch it to know it's stupid. Stupid movies get a 1 from me.

"Get Smart" has Dwayne in, you call it stupid 'cause of him - you stupid. And "Tooth Fairy" is fine, you voted without seeing it - you are stupid^2.

I haven't seen it yet and I'm giving it a 10. Only because I think people who rate films they haven't seen, ruin the actual honest rating system. Which is obviously already ruined by people giving it 1's without having watched it. I will never see this movie because it just isn't my cup of tea. But now, for the people who do like to watch this kind of movie, it will be unfairly rated low by fools who've never seen it and probably never plan on it. FOOLS. Grow a brain and go do something useful with your lives.

Wanna know something? You guys are just proving the inital poster's comments. Do I think IMDb ratings are a joke? Sure, so is any other system.

I gave the film a 7. It was entertaining, it had a good message, and come on, you doesn't like the big grin Dwayne Johnson flashes?? It's so real for the camera. In other words: TOTALLY FAKE and he knows it!! But that's what's funny.

I especially liked the words of Monsterplop: "discerning movie lovers"...well, that's a little ridiculous of a term to use of people who don't like this film. Maybe a little idiotic even...come to think of it, totally arrogant as well.

Totally agree. Ther're just like the character that Dwayne plays. Miserable killjoys. Enjoyed it, So there!!!!!!
