Very interesting movie

Dealing with the inevitable consequence of long isolation between a married couple. Although frankly it was difficult to understand why Jean did not take proper advantage of that young woman when the best opportunities for this came his way. In his position he could have treated her as a physical object and degraded her for sadistic pleasure, to destroy the purity of her attachment to her husband. The movie could have been more interesting if he had done so.
